For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wouldn't favor these signs either, but they're not nearly as tacky as what we got and one heluva lot cheaper. Maybe. I think these standard signs are metal and mounted on posts. Also, it looks like more than six were purchased so the initial cost should be divided by 12 or so and not six for the per-sign cost. We don't need either. The Communications Committee wants to post electronic signs at the north and south and Cathell Road entrances. This may result in more dead geese (not to mention pedestrian humans as there is apparently little concern for their safety) since drivers will be distracted when reading the electronic signs letting them know about the time and location of the next Restless Leg Syndrome meeting. |
