Short term renters are not being asked to show a lease agreement at the front desk.
Then those staff are not doing their jobs properly. If the golf course demands a resident membership card for reduced greens fees, the pool should as well. The golf course and aquatics operate under the same corporate charter. If golf requires a membership card for member rates then it violates the Charter. As for political comments, readers can make up their iwn minds. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Short term renters are not being asked to show a lease agreement at the front desk. What about property owners houseguests ,(many times family members visiting)? Are they being asked for a note from the property owner or a lease agreement-of course not. They give the address and they get the reduced price. If the golf course demands a resident membership card for reduced greens fees, the pool should as well. As for being political, there's nothing political noting that this Board majority went against the suggestion of the department heads and the GM, the B& F committee and the amenity committees and did not raise membership fees to increase revenue. Given the wait list for boat slips and the popularity of the beach parking and the projected increased expenses in aquatics...that was purely a political popular decision and not one that benefits those not using the amenities. |
