The above is indicative of hurdles association members face in obtaining information from the books and records of Ocean Pines. Are association members now expected to hire a lawyer just to see the books and records? Doug Parks wrote: "Reliable source? I wonder who that would be. For the record I will not be sharing our email conversations with him." An interesting statement on a couple of levels. First, he has no idea as to my source, and might even be surprised. Second, it is not Parks' decision as to what books and records any association member has a right to see. His comment is arrogant. |
