I think he’d be surprised how many in our community are boycotting the Ortt amenities.
Maybe many would be surprised at how FEW are boycotting Ortt managed OPA restaurants. Would not surprise me if most saying they are boycotting have never or rarely been in one of them. There was a very nice crowd at the Vet Memorial event and Ortt was roundly cheered. Did I miss the part where the memorial was vandalized after the event was held at the Yacht Club? Cute. But no one claimed there was. Threats were made to vandalize the memorial by one or more cretins, and those threats were turned over to police for investigation

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: He could’ve left out most of it. Did I miss the part where the memorial was vandalized after the event was held at the Yacht Club? I think he’d be surprised how many in our community are boycotting the Ortt amenities. Money isn’t the basis of everyone’s actions. If he was worried about our fees he could’ve coughed up the previous fiscal year’s $600,000 and given it back to the residents. canceling leaf removal was averaged at $20/lot. Didn’t get that back either. The ditches are not the home owners responsibility. They might want to remember that. Reporter was gutless. Big applause was a lie. Maybe she could’ve contacted some outside of the Board about their thoughts. I did like that his entire speech was printed. Lets everyone make their own decision. |
