Hopefully, those proposed DR changes will never be sent out. As an aside, any association member has the right to seek DR changes in their section. No need to even involve the Board of Directors. I should also add, my personal position is that OPA should not allow any rentals under 30 days. Many will disagree. Not likely to happen but it would be interesting to see how the 350 or so owners in my section would vote. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: why would OPA need to spend the time? They do NOT need to. Rather they want to. Again, there is ONLY one reason to incorporate that language into the HOA decs: so they can police and enforce it. POWER is what this is all about. So, if you want them to have that power, return the papers. If not, don't return. They will not have that power unless the members give it to them. |
