| I have seen two letters online to remove ‘Gavin’ signs and neither mentions applying for an exception. Have all of the violations been for the ‘Gavin’ support signs? Are they generated because someone complained? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: CPI has no authority to remove signs unless they are in our easement, on the median, or on our property. We have removed a few signs (all contractor signs) - only at the entrance to north gate and to White Horse Park. Any other signs are receiving a violation notice. In said violation notice it states that they can apply for an exception to the Guidelines to keep the sign. OPA is waiting on clarification from the attorney as to the Back the Blue signs and the Black Lives Matter/All Lives Matter signs. Previously we were not pursuing these signs as they are political in nature. If determined by the attorney otherwise, we will be violating those signs as well. |
