CPI has no authority to remove signs unless they are in our easement, on the median, or on our property. We have removed a few signs (all contractor signs) - only at the entrance to north gate and to White Horse Park.
Any other signs are receiving a violation notice. In said violation notice it states that they can apply for an exception to the Guidelines to keep the sign. OPA is waiting on clarification from the attorney as to the Back the Blue signs and the Black Lives Matter/All Lives Matter signs. Previously we were not pursuing these signs as they are political in nature. If determined by the attorney otherwise, we will be violating those signs as well. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Linda. Can you obtain some info for us regarding how CPI/ARC is handling signs on member lots? Are any signs being removed without letter notification? Are letter notifications being sent on all improper signs? Are some signs treated differently than others? I know of lots where unaporoved signs have been there for over a year. |
