Only signs that are supposed to be allowed are political ones due to laws prohibiting community restrictions on those 30 days prior to an election. I've seen a number of homes on the Parkway having election signs up much longer....would be nice to enforce that better as I agree signs start making OP look junky.....too bad we don't own the property across from Northgate bridge, as all the signage makes it looks horrible much of the year. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Like it or not, political election signs are allowed, I believe. If, what we are hearing tonight is true, in that OPA is attempting to prohibit all signs --- including political in that the election cycle is over --- I think it's a mistake. Just my opinion. Nothing new is going on. Except it certainly looks like certain individuals are seeking to sow seeds of discord. Enforcing sign regulations is nothing new. I notice rather few non-political signs. And they should not be there. Why is it a mistake to enforce the sign regs? If there is an attempt to enforce the sign regs, thank goodness. BTW, I don’t see many signs in the Parke at all. Did this conspiracy start there? |
