Oh, I did speak with Mike Hooks today.  He said the food bank received goose meat from Ocean Pines.  I asked how many pounds? Don’t know. Who processed the meat? What slaughterhouse? Don’t know. Proof or receipt/paperwork? Don’t have.  

After the holidays, I’ll contact the Agriculture Dept. and work my way down to Wildlife Services.  Someone, somewhere has to know where the slaughtered geese were processed, if they were processed, and how they were killed.  Gas (carbon dioxide or a combo of carbon dioxide and argon)? Killed at a slaughterhouse? Which one? This information has to be in writing or on a computer somewhere.
