| Research shows vegetation buffers do work. I think the attempt "failed" because residents complained that it looked "messy" or blocked their view and thus a previous GM just rounded up the geese and gassed them. It is my opinion that with education and more attractive strategically placed native plantings (and more of the public not wanting to kill the geese), there will be a different outcome. I have confidence in the ENA Committee and their expertise on this matter. They are extremely dedicated and wish to find an environmentally friendly solution. The Discussion is to just bring the Board and the Public up-to-date on the matter. It's my goal to communicate clearly to the Board and the homeowners what is happening. FYI: the Southgate Pond yesterday was absolutely beautiful!!! | ||||||
