The comment was "This seems to be a typical Pennsylvania Liberal move."  I think the emphasis was meant to be on the word 'liberal', not pennsylvania.

This whole 'i'm the victim and we have the nsa looking for the deplorable ol leaker' diversion/ demonization tactic sure does have all the earmarks of a certain ideology.  and really, if some a**hole felt the need to circulate the story of the conviction, so what.  Who that person is is irrelevant and insignificant (unless of course it was someone running for the board, or someone acting on that persons behalf) and is simply being used as a distraction away from the issue of providing the relevant and honest facts to the voters and letting them decide (that's supposedly why the forum exists, but joe chose to censor what he sanctimoniously deemed to be 'personal'). 

the story did in fact circulate outside the forum among many deeply concerned people who commented (including me) via personal accounts - - not anonymously.  an fbi sting involving millions in theft of taxpayer money is a big deal if the person convicted is married to a board candidate .  . . but if said ongoing criminal activity did not not take place during the years they were married, then there's no story here, it is in fact personal. however, if the ongoing criminal activity spanned the years of the marriage to the board candidate the voters have a right to ask questions.
