likely to rear its ugly head today
Millions of Uighurs are saying "Hey, look over here." The only countries paying attention happen to be in the West. We hear NOTHING from the Muslim States. Apparently, it's permissible for foreigners to harvest body parts from your Muslim brothers and sisters but don't dare draw a likeness of Muhammad. Like the 'Mob' passing around 'street money' to silence neighborhoods and politicians, China's global economical influence is a de facto inoculation against any charges of Covid criminality and Holocaust-like behavior towards the Uighurs. BTW, I have a picture of my WWII father, in the Philippines, driving a jeep with my name and my brother's on the bumper. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was speaking with a Dell computer support person in the Philippines the other day. I asked if she ever heard of the Bataan Death March. Never had. We often hear how “we will never forget.” Fact is, humanity does, for the most part - eventually. At the very least, the terrible emotional edge wears off with succeeding generations. In a Death March documentary not that many years ago some survivors were asked to go to Japan and meet with some of their guards. A healing trip. One survivor refused to go. “I will never forgive them,” he said. “Never.“ The frightening thing is, man’s inhumanity to man is as likely to rear its ugly head today as it did 1941. |
