I look at my check no matter where I am. I loved the food and service. I hope all remembered to tip on the full check even the additional .50 tarter sauce. I am sure if there were something free someone would still complain. Lord help us.

have been eating out a long time. Always have tipped on the full bill and usually with good service more than 20%. My issue charging extra for tartar sauce is not so much about money but about practices that end up hurting an establishment more than helping them. I suppose this comes from my background in business and marketing. Business's over the years should learn that little things like this that are a negative end up getting talked about to a myriad of other people more than the good experience and end up doing more harm than good. It has nothing to do with complaining about something for free. Just not smart marketing?
