If the trailer is not a pop-up or other type of camping vehicle.......ou should be just fine! Nancy, you may be out of touch with OPA ARC Guidelines and enforcement. OPA has successfully gone to court to force an association member to remove a trailer similar to what Marty placed in his driveway. If Marty is determined to fight this he will most likely have to go all the way to the Court of Appeals for a decision. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Marty, If the trailer is not a pop-up or other type of camping vehicle.......ou should be just fine! I guess that small part of the DRs is the ONLY part that EVERYONE understood in the early 70's. "You will not be able to put a trailer on your property and that is why we have made a campground for you. You will have to either leave your trailer at the campground or take it home with you because it cannot stay on your property." I think that fact was even mentioned at one of the promotional dinners that we attended in Montgomery Co. The campground was a HUGE draw for young families because that period was at the height of the RV rage. People could "get a lot while they were young" ...as the old saying goes, and still have the recreational privileges that Ocean Pines offered. ( It took us 22 years to get the house....but we had a ball during the years in between.) Now....DON'T try and sleep out there in the trailer or you WILL be in trouble! ( even though I know what the rule really means....I would NOT want to have your trailer next door to me ...unless it is screened by some Leyland Cypress, yews or other evergreen hedge. It seems to me that if a work trailer is needed....there are ways to keep it from being an eyesore. ( very likely more easily than hiding a boat with a blue tarp. Nancy
