Rick: "responsibilities of the BOD" Please direct me to the Ocean Pines document which requires our board of directors to engage in County, State, or Federal legislation or politics. I can only find that this kind of behavior is, for the most part, prohibited. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In fact, I think they encouraged and welcomed any grassroots organization wishing to pursue that option, even if they don't believe there is much chance of success. As I said to Bill, "The role of the BOD is to look out for the best interest of the 8,400 plus property owners. I'm of the opinion that on this issue that wasn't done." I don't consider soliciting grassroots organization to assume the role and responsibilities of the BOD as being the proper way to do business. |
