A different issue than we are discussing. As has been pointed out from the beginning, the issue here is trying to get a percentage for OPA IF slots pass. Odds are it will pass statewide, in Worcester County, and Ocean PInes. Uh...I wouldn't be too sure about that. In any case ....we need to cover all our bases in case the idiot voters thrust this misery on our community. Nancy |

Many voters over here see this whole slots idea as an absurd and inappropriate public policy decision. The Washington Post has always taken a stand against slots as well as many influential and well respected people in the counties over here.
