Video: Cook Motion Fails
Start
OPA Board Meeting of 10/19/2005. Director Heather Cook's motion to move OPA to having a board election every two years instead of the current yearly failed. Cook's proposal would have set a director's term at four years with one reelection possible. If passed, the motion would have still required a change in the OPA by-laws via a referendum. President Glenn Duffy broke a tie vote by voting No, and the motion failed.

Final vote was Venit, Coleburn, Kelley, Duffy voting No; Cook, Stachurski, Sterrett voting Yes.
