OPA Board meeting 6/15/2005. OPA Director Mark Venit made several motions at the board meeting today relative to Wood Duck Park. All passsed, and this essentially resolves the issues related to access to Wood Duck Park.
Net result is all five public access easements into the park will be appropriately marked, and some clearing done as necessary so they may be "reasonably" used. The park will be surveyed and plantings made around the perimeter to delineate the public area; two benches will be installed near the water; appropriate park regulation signs will be placed; it will be open from dawn to dusk.
