Video: Dollars for Decatur VP
Start
Worcester County Commissioners meeting of 5/10/2005. Video segment covers discussion of spending in FY 2005/2006 for funding an additional assistant principal at Stephen Decatur High School. On motion of Bud Church the Commissioners voted to fund the position for approximately $77,000 per year. Church, Purnell, Gulyas, and Cetola voted YES. Bloxom,  Shockley, and Boggs voted NO.

Bloxom pointed out the the current number of assistant principals at Stephen Decatur was in line with those at Snow Hill and Pokomoke High Schools. Bloxom asked Gulyas why Stephen Decatur needed more assistant principals per student than the other schools. Gulyas replied that an additional assistant principal was required because, "I feel that they need it for the different kind of student that goes to that school."

Bloxom asked Gulyas what she meant by that but Gulyas did not respond.
