In this special edition of Focus On The Pines, you join host Jack Barnes at the dedication of the Ernie Armstrong Building at Worcester County's Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities in Ocean Pines on April 12, 2005.
Ernie Armstrong served as a member and chairman of the county's Ocean Pines Water and Wastewater Advisory Committee over a ten year period and was dedicated to community service, including work at Showell Elementary School..
In addition to the short dedication ceremony presided over by Commissioner Sonny Bloxom, the program features interviews with Ernie's wife Sharon, his children and grandchildren, a number of County Commissioners, fellow members of the advisory committee, County Public Works Director John Tustin, OPA General Manager Dave Ferguson, and OPA board member Tom Sandusky.
