When I had the pleasure of serving on the board, our attorney at the time was Joe Moore. To my recollection, he attended almost every meeting to keep us in line, and did a pretty good job of it.
Well, Rakow was on same board and chairman, as I recall. Rakow dumped Moore at meetings, if I can refresh your memory. Rakow also made other symbolic moves, like moving the board room table so the president seat was at the opposite end of table from prior president. Rakow said the board did not need an attorney at meetings because all this “legal” stuff was just common sense. Excuse me for my remembrance of nonsense.
