Upper Manklin Creek
is sampled weekly from May 26th to September 8th. Current Status The status is RED. This means the latest sample results indicate the beach has not met water quality standards for swimming. The status of this beach was last confirmed by Assateague Coastal Trust on July 4th 2025, 3:05:20 pm. Note: likely due to large quantity of goose excrement from Southgate Pond. BUT, never suggest killing some of the overpopulation of geese. Where is Tom Janasek when we need him? |
