Your post is outright misleading, and you are for some reason feeding a narrative of your own making. To characterize the FB post the way you did, without telling readers what the post actually was -- an innocuous photo of new OP bocce courts (which look awesome btw) -- is really disappointing.
There is nothing -- zero -- about me liking that post that creates any bad or improper appearance. Go find any FB post, by anyone, for or against any OPA candidate or campaign, in any year since I've been OPA counsel, that I have "liked." Ever. Knock yourself out, Joe. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: How on earth do you see that and decide to post what you posted about me? Maybe take the rest of the weekend off, Joe. Bruce, maybe you should take off postings that may give association members the perception you are involving yourself in the election. Surely you can’t think association members are so naive. YOU are corporate counsel, or whatever position is formally called, for the Ocean Pines Association Board of Directors. An election is taking place. You are a darn smart person. Perception can be reality, as you are very aware. Do you actually believe, for example, that supporters of Candidate Amy Peck, or Peck herself, or other candidates, will not potentially perceive your LIKE as something not as innocent as you suggest in the midst of an election? |
