How would one find this Facebook hate site? I'm stumped. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: During the Candidates Forum, Lakernick publicly accused Peck of supporting a boycott of the Yacht Club and other Matt Ortt Companies operations in OPA during the major controversy around a tragic hit-and-run death involving an Ortt employee. Lakernick provided no facts to support his accusation. Peck denied the charge, saying her only comments about the Ortt management were relative to her desire to see the OPA Board of Directors seek bids on food and beverage service operations. The Board of Directors did exactly that and replaced Ortt with Touch of Italy. Candidate Lakernick is seeing support for his unsupported charges that Candidate Peck supported a boycott of Matt Ortt operations in OPA during the hit-and-run death controversy a couple of years ago involving an Ortt employee. Unfortunately, and likely more harmful than helpful to Lakernick's candidacy, the support is on a Facebook hate site that attacks women and generally supports the Get Involved Facebook group run by Lakernick's wife. Perhaps, most important, the so-called "proof" of Peck's supposed Ortt boycott support, is totally without foundation. Pure nonsense. First, the hate site Admin provided an image and link of something Sherrie Clifford posted to the ROC Facebook page back on November 7, 2022. It was a link to an online petition site created by someone intent on attacking Ortt in relation to the hit-and-run death controversy. The petition site is at IPetitions.com. The petition was to "terminate the Matt Ortt contract" with OPA. At that date, 2,250 signatures were seeking the Ortt termination. There is no proof that Peck or Clifford signed that Petition. Here is the absolute joke of using that petition as some proof anyone supported a boycott of Ortt: Any person can vote in any petition there. Anyone can use any fake name and/or any fake email to vote! Vote as Donald Trump, or Stuart Lakernick, or Rick Farr, or Amy Peck. Again, the Facebook hate site is hurting Lakernick's candidacy, not helping. |
