One thing you failed to mention was the incredible food Touch of Italy prepared for the event. An unbelievably delicious Italian "buffet," proceeded by hors d'oeuvres, with the Italian roasted peppers and olives at the top of my list. Terrific service by staff.
The evening was a culinary delight. Hopefully, Bob Ciprietti and Touch of Italy will at some point offer such special buffet evenings to the dining public at the Yacht Club. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I was privileged to attend the volunteer appreciation dinner last night. The event was wonderful and I was honored to attend. What struck me most was the number of association members who care enough about our community to take time to contribute to the association. We all know the names of the movers and shakers in the news all the time, but I never realized the number of ordinary people who care enough about OPA. From the people who take care of our flags, the town watch group, or just everyday people like me who serve on a committee, it's amazing how so many nice people really make this association unique and something to be proud of. I left the event proud to live in Ocean Pines. John |
