I am of the opinion that this was Hill’s whole game all along.
Gain public trust, press flesh, present self as successful businessman Get on the Board Get rid of GM Generously volunteer to take the GM’s position, for free Utilize position as General Manager to generate favorable treatment to his fiber optics company …which is what I said YEARS ago. I remember a representative of the company posting here, on the forum. I asked the representative, repeatedly, what Hill’s connection to the company was… the representative refused to answer. I seem to recall a representative of the company showing up at a Board meeting or two. It was so, so obvious that this guy was a con artist. But Ocean Pines fell for it… Boy…this is taking me back. Good times! My boys love that pirate ship, though. |
