The OPA website contains the following but, to my knowledge, OPA did not send out a news release:

(May 13, 2025) Consistent with applicable Bylaw provisions and based on the number of eligible Board election candidates submitted this week to the Ocean Pines Elections Committee for the three Board of Directors seats up for election, the OPA Board is inviting additional eligible members to submit candidate applications.

OPA Secretary and Election Committee Board liaison, John Latham, issued the invitation on behalf of the OPA Board.  Interested and eligible OPA members must submit a completed candidate application no later than Noon on Friday, June 20, 2025.

The election will determine three of the seven seats on the Ocean Pines Board of Directors, the governing body responsible for setting policy and guiding the direction of the Association.

For more information or to obtain a candidate application form, members may visit the Ocean Pines Administration Building at 239 Ocean Parkway or download the form at oceanpines.org.

The date of June 20 complies with the OPA governing documents, specifically Resolution M-06.

However, M-06 says submissions will be accepted until close of business on that date.

Nitpicking, perhaps, but why the deadline of Noon?
