| The county administrator announced at the start of the Worcester County Commissioners public hearing last evening that “Option 3” in the Fiscal Year 2026 water and wastewater enterprise funds budget was deemed “not feasible.” Option 3 was a plan that would have required Ocean Pines rate payers to pay for the debts of other sanitary service areas. I thank everyone who took the time to voice our collective voice of opposition. We kept our message on point and in front of the country commissioners…..THANK YOU! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Seems like the county just dropped the idea of making OP ratepayers foot the bill for water and sewer losses in other areas - this one budget year at least. |
