Riddle Farms is taking no steps to do anything. Riddle Farms service area is owned by Worcester County. Worcester County allowed the system to virtually shut down, with water and sewer service provided almost entirely by the Ocean Pines area for about the past SEVEN years.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Some of these loser systems such as riddle farms are taking positive steps to put their operation on a sound financial footing such as updating facilities etc. Riddle Farms is taking no steps to do anything. Riddle Farms service area is owned by Worcester County. Worcester County allowed the system to virtually shut down, with water and sewer service provided almost entirely by the Ocean Pines area for about the past SEVEN years. As for River Rum, it receives its water from Ocean Pines - always has. Now it appears the County is going to make a sewer connection from OP to River Run. There are 4 that show a profit. River run, OPA, west OC, lighthouse sound. OP service area is set to lose over $100,000 in the current fiscal year. Not a major problem by any stretch, but not a PROFIT. Your guesses as to what will happen are as useless as any others at this point. |
