I had a nice friend in the Pines - the late Harry Lindenhofen, May God rest him - who was very keen on astronomy. Harry used to say that he wanted the telescope images brought directly to his easy chair in his living room and then he would enjoy them... LOL! For my part, I try to keep up with news on various subjects in astronomy and also some in physics and once in awhile even quantum computing. I once asked Harry whether he was interested in chasing down any research interests. He said: "well, you might find me looking into the tastes of various beers and doing that kind of research!" A nice guy Harry was, and I miss him. God took him to his reward back in 2018. Doug |
