I now live in SC which is my legal residence. I pay state income taxes for the full year's income there although I live in OP for about 120 days. I also pay non resident homeowners' real estate taxes on my OP house. The lady legislator talks about "fair share". I would have thought that the D's would start to avoid that phrase after the Hunter Biden affair but guess not.
Since I have the ability to defer a good portion of my annual income to months I'm not in MD, it might have a small effect on me but if they reach for the whole pie, they will get none. |
