We are certainly getting some unique food establishments in the Pines which is great.  Looking forward to trying Casita Linda when they open. The Mexican restaurant with the grocery store in front in Selbyville was the closest I remember to finding "real" Mexican food in our area. CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT:
This is our final season open as Casita Linda on 3rd street. Closing our doors October 1st.
We opened May 2019 with a few familia recipes and a mission to provide Ocean City/Worcester County with “a day in the life” of a Mexican household menu (comida casera). Most importantly, to provide an environment for the local hispano yearning to feel a piece of home. For the customers who ate un pan dulce con chocolate and felt something. The customers who had fun ordering una torta de jamón (aka torta del chavo). The customers who cried letting us know how much they needed a conversation and food they are familiar with. Our regulars, local and far, Mexican or not Mexican, who enjoyed talking to us about our culture.. we can’t thank you enough for everything.
We experienced the pandemic on this corner of 3rd street only two weeks after opening for our second season, and grew through it. We felt community love and thrived. We have met familias and friends on this corner. The people we have had the privilege of working with us priceless, they too have become familia.
Letting go of this beautiful location has to do with growth. We have more to offer and want to step away to reevaluate the way we do things. Our mission is still the same.
