| Thanks for the explanation. Guess it's just me but ten million for truckloads of stone and sand sounds like a LOT of material? I understand part of the ten mil is for bulldozer work but it still sounds very expensive, am I missing something? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I guess I've passed it a hundred times or more both going for gas or into my dock in Pines Point and I'm trying to figure out how they intend to get a lot of dump trucks out there? When loaded the probably weigh 30,000 pounds +/-? They start on high ground at the end of the private road of the condo development. Dumping stone and pushing it out into the marsh/water with heavy equipment. They are not running loaded dump trucks over the marsh. From water on barges. the dumping and creation of the stone island would be much more expensive. |
