I’m familiar with the Boston Drive launch site. It’s extremely soft (snatched one of my water shoes some years back) and OPA does dump sand to help but it doesn’t hold.
Wood Duck remains the better choice. I appreciate the offer of your friend on Boston Drive but unless your friend’s dock floats at water level, getting down in a kayak can be a challenge. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is a place on Boston Drive by the mailboxes that you can put your kayak in, it is beautiful back there. Wonder if they could expand that but parking may be issue. Ken if you ever want to Kayak back there let me know my friend lives on Boston so we could go off her dock. |
