I also offer my own “well said” to Mr Bertino. I am a retired Worcester County educator. I am very proud to have retired as a classroom teacher in the school system from which I graduated. I was born and raised in Snow Hill and graduated from SHHS in 1965. The Worcester County schools have always been highly regarded for the quality of their programs.
Many things in our society have changed drastically and not necessarily for the better. I believe we are in an existential crisis for the survival of our Democracy at this point. I hope our country and our Democracy survive the onslaught that seems to be headed our way. I’m sure there are many others who have differing opinions, and you’re welcome to them. I'm just very afraid for our democatic way of life right now. Thanks again Chip! Those things needed to be said. You said them in fine fashion! Terry Gibbons |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: To Chip Bertino- Well said. I’m glad my 5 children are long through the Maryland school system. I have one more grandchild that’s a senior and we’re done with the schools in Maryland. But if I were a young parent now, I would say you must be involved. This is the only way to stop this takeover of the children and their education. I’m reading other states, step by step doing this. With you and your support, and parents behind you, I believe in a change - back to the better… Thank you for all you’ve done! |
