I wonder where the immorality lies. With the personal opinions or the revenue generating ads? Once again: too many people with too much time on their hands.
Ditto the duck signs. They can't read and drivers can see them crossing. If the drivers are too distracted or senile to see them, they won't see the signs either. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Sharon. I am told the Environmental committee placed the geese and duck crossing signs on Cathell Road. If so, who authorized the committee to do so? On another note, the quote below is from the April committee minutes. What on earth is Tim Peck doing in trying to involve the committee in "high moral standards" relative to his comments about local newspapers? When did Tim Peck or members of your committee become the defacto people to set "moral standards" for OPA?????? From the meeting minutes: "Integrity / Importance of Strong Moral Principles – Tim Peck spoke on this topic with a group discussion following. As representatives of the community, we must uphold high standards. We discussed that the local newspapers (Courier, OP Progress, Bayside Gazette) are filled with mostly personal opinions and not really news related and are based on generating revenue from ads." |
