Id say it is about 60-40 so yes mostly women. If you add Miller‘s page that ups it to prob 50-50. I could, but obviously wouldn’t, list the names that one sees all the time that are not even attempting to be kind or have a discussion. They come up that often.
From what I’ve seen, it is at least 2 dozen women and a dozen or more men that cause most of it. It is kind of hard to tell sometimes because folks open new Facebook accounts to try to get back on sites that they strongly disagree with and continue to post negative stuff. Makes no sense. It is particularly disheartening to me the way women snipe at each other. If the women weren’t doing it, perhaps the men would quiet down some? i don’t know. The idea that no one would be blocked from a page was nice but naive and untenable. I believe you’ve had to interrupt access to the forum a few times? Considering the number of people that live here, it is a small, but loud, minority. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well, if you compare a 2000 or so word commentary on how Facebook wars are influencing who controls OPA to the primarily child-like personal sniping between people who obviously have a strong dislike for each other, be my guest. Is it my imagination or is it primarily women going after each other? |
