For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: HOA Closed Meetings commentary by Joe Reynolds, OceanPinesForum.com Berlin resident Jason Walter filed a complaint with the Maryland Open Meetings Compliance Board claiming the Berlin City Council violated open meeting provisions of state law when it went into closed session to discuss a contract between Berlin and the Berlin Fire Company. The Compliance Board sided with Walter. AND YES IN OP A COURT DECUISION SEEMS TO BE THE BEST DECISION, TO AVOID CORRUPTION, AND FOR SOLID DIRECTION. ESPECIALLY FROM PAST EXPERIENCES IN OP. Fighting "City Hall" is no romp in the park. |
