The only coverage indicating opposition to Parks was this line, "Five of the seven board members supported Parks reading it in public as his president’s remarks, he said."

Then there is this line in the article: "The larger-than-normal crowd that had gathered for the board meeting erupted in applause at the end of his statement."

I was at the meeting and recall only one or two individuals clapping for about two seconds. Erupted in applause?? Nonsense.

It is fairly obvious the Gazette does not want Doug Parks complaining about its coverage of the Board of Directors.
