I received a letter from Lakernick's attorney with the definition of defamation and a threat of a future suit. My personal attorney advised me it was best to abstain.  It certainly was not a case of elimination of a candidate who previously served a committee (that is presently empty) successfully. 

If you will recall, I also successfully argued that a spouse of a convicted felon should be allowed to pursue a director position and that referendum question was dropped.
