OK, I'll take your word for it. So people outside of OP are ginning up petitions to harm our YC and, by derivation, our community's well being based on what exactly? The threats that have caused entertainers to cancel engagements at the YC are based on what exactly? The threats to damage the Veterans Memorial are based on what exactly?
There is nothing tangible that anyone can point to that justifies these actions. It's been said that the intelligence of a mob reflects the intelligence of its least intelligent member. This is starting to look like a prime example. I sympathize with people who want answers in the case of that tragic hit and run. I fail to see how any of these pitchfork parties moves that investigation one iota. I do see how lynching parties used to spring up....some not too far from here. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If he did, it seems to be the opposite (in tone) of what he is saying in this latest statement. Ed, Parks, the OPA president, did not vote in that poll. I think is is a Doug Parks over in Berlin. I looked at all the names. I believe 90% or more are not people in OP. Anyone can go there and vote as many times as they wish under any name they wish. |
