thank you Joe. I appreciate that info about DeAngelus. I remember reading that they were searching for the car and a young lady was responcible for directing the police but can't remember where I read that.
My interpretation about the money issue was that if the food services were not successful then the golf and aquatics may also fall off and what would be the result? But then I think differently than others and isn't that what makes us great? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ralph DeAngelus released a public statement saying he had his attorney call the state police and inform them the car was in his garage on the morning after the hit and run. That is what I recall seeing in the newspapers. One might reasonably think it was factual. The Parks statement should not have mentioned money and a possible assessment increase, but I believe Parks was correct in addressing the issue. Unfortunately, there was not enough consideration of the possible adverse pubic reaction to the money comment. |
