It's targeting by OPA and to cover their tracks they decided to clamp down on all signs other than "political" signs.
Looking at the ARC guidelines covering political signs, it looks to me like you can have a Trump 2024 or Biden 2024 sign in your front yard up until 7 days after the November 2024 election date. That's another two years. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Is this evidence of targeting by OPA, or is Linda Martin just trying to save the Knupps the time and expense of making/distributing/selling signs that would be taken down? It makes sense that she would reach out, considering how many people expressed interest in having a sign. |
