IMO Michelle and John have been a great team, worked very well together. John supported Michelle, made sure she was recognized for her key role in OPA. Michelle has hung in through several GM changes and served in a commendable manner under each. If I were to guess I would say she has decided not to go through another GM search and change. The process can be stressful for people in the Administration department especially. 

 I was surprised to read of John's decision to leave in February. His contract went through, I believe June or July. Having spent a fair bit of time with John and Michelle my first thought when learning of John's decision was, will Michelle leave as well. For OPA's sake, I hope there aren't others planning similar moves.
