| A member of the Environment committee said yesterday that the goose meat donation was essentially fake news. I have not had a chance to check that claim with regard to last OPA goose kill. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I recall when the geese were last culled a few years back under GM Bailey, the meat was processed and donated. The city of Denver has been doing this the past several years with donations to area food banks. Denver tried various options and concluded culling was the only effective method along with the benefit of the food donation to those in need. |
