For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Killing any overpopulation of resident Canada geese is the only control method that will work on the ponds along 589. Plantings are only effective during the short period when the geese cannot fly. OPA should not again allow fowl to turn to foul because of animal rights advocates Who have taken over the committee. Just prior to the killing of about 300 geese a few years ago, the amount of goose poop around the Veterans Memorial was absolutely disgusting. |
