The document you signed for the removal application had the reasons for the trees to come down.
You had them removed bc you couldn't grow grass, roots everywhere and no place for your child to play? Might want to delete that one! None are valid reasons or on the application to have trees removed. Santa Maria has a contract to take 5 trees down for me. All are within 8' of the foundation. One has dropped huge branches onto and into my roof. Its twin is right next to it. With that having happened, the others being so close concern me. Within 10' is a valid reason on its own. I'll look for Jeff's card. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Chris, I just had 10+ trees removed from our property last month by Santa Maria and we couldn't be happier with their work. They took care of everything in regards to permits and approval, so I'm not sure what they wrote on the paperwork that got the work approved. The trees were not dying or leaning, but they were very tall. There were 3 pines and a mix of others, it was impossible to grow grass, and the roots were EVERYWHERE. We have a 1 year old and with the trees on the property, there was no safe place for him to play. I hope that helps! |
