Hi Jack, They are only mentioned in the ammended version and I would assume that they would be the same as trucks and have to be of the proper size and weight. I don't know anything about the weight of a construction trailer such as the one Marty has. I know that a pick-up truck is pretty heavy, so anything much bigger than that is too big to park in a driveway. I am sure that the original DR's were addressing sleeping .. camping... in any vehicle parked on a lot. You could not leave a vehicle of any kind on your lot...period... if there was no house there. ( you can just imagine where that would lead.) Nancy PS: after I wrote this ...I remembered that I have been told that truck weight is based on the load that they carry...not the weight of the vehicle. Sorry for the mistake. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In the original DR's # 1 means any mannner of dwellings.You can have a temporary construction shack.....but you cannot sleep in it .....EVER! What is your interpretation of the DRs as they pertain to a construction trailer? |
