Dave, It is obvious, IMHO, that the section in the DR,s regarding trailers was specifically referring to "habitable" trailers. I believe most read it the same way as you do... It's kind of absurd to think that Boise would be refering to boat trailers not being allowed in a boating community. I can see it now " 40 years ago" buy a lot in OP but don't bring your boat, buy a lot close to the bays and beach but don't bring your boat. Robert. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "By contrast the Guidelines are pretty specific on the maximum size of open utility trailers that are allowed." The guidelines were revised, but not to he satisfaction of the committee, which approached the issue with common sense,that was charged to review them. The issue regarding "utility trailers" only became an issue because the head of the ARC at that time, Walt Bogey, had a personal problem with them, as well as an OPA inspector! They were not an issue before. It is obvious, IMHO, that the section in the DR,s regarding trailers was specifically referring to "habitable" trailers.
