What I do think hurts us is stupid insinuations that if we don't do it as a board then our elected legislators will rob us blind. It is that kind of stupid attitude that has caused our community's reputation harm on a County and State level. Rob us blind? How can our elected legislators rob us of something OPA doesn't have? Your logic escapes me. Such an attitude would be stupid, but you are the first person to express it in terms of this discussion. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: First I am not going to answer your question as a member of the board, only as a member of the Association. "OPA can DAMAGE our standing in the county or state by simply asking to speak to our state legislators" No, I would not think that.
